Welcome to the very first post in my new monthly series, where I’ll be sharing a little peek behind the scenes of my studio life!

As you’ve probably guessed, a lot of my energy this month or so has gone into learning the ropes on Substack and helping people understand what I’m up to here on my Behind The scenes - Studio Membership... I think I’m finally getting there, but do please let me know if you think I’m doing things wrong, or if you are confused about what I’m doing and/or what you’ve signed up for! I LOVE hearing from you!

Have you ever wondered what a typical day looks like in my Edinburgh studio? I thought you might appreciate a peek through the door and in to my messy work space… I’ll tell you about what happens - from morning cups of coffee with my assistants, to drawing beloved dogs, chatting with publishers, prepping for exhibitions, designing new picture books - and squeezing in a lunchtime park walk with Otto (unless it’s raining - he hates rain!)…
