I love the idea of drawing every day! There have been times when I feel like I do very little writing as a writer - maybe I need to start a daily writing practice?!

That’s fantastic! Your drawings are so good! I’ve been doing a Daily Sketch on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook and it’s keeping me hopping. I’ll have to find you on Instagram.

Love the video! And the inspiration to keep sketching because it builds skills. The first dog I tried to draw looked like a big blob. But it taught me some about lines and what to emphasize, like make the nose much bigger and not really to scale and it will communicate “dog” more. The second one, the next day, was only slightly better. But the third one on the third day wasn’t just better, it was like 1,000x better and my 23 year old artist daughter squealed when she saw it! It’s a mystery to me how that happens. I made her a gift certificate for her bday and drew it again and she loved that too. It’s like once I figure it out, my hand has muscle memory and can do it again.

that is so lovely - and a great lesson to learn. I'm sure your blob wasn't as bad as you thought. Keep going!! I love to draw and listen to a good audiobook.... x
